InterCare supports the development and advancement of professional health care careers. Our facilities have accommodated a variety of students from many disciplines by providing unpaid clinical experiences in order to fulfill community health, OB, and cultural required rotations to name a few.
It is our philosophy and intent to continue to be a teaching facility for the benefits of receiving a valuable service of student participation in projects and other work assignments, as well as the potential recruitment of future long-term employees.
Students can expect to gain knowledge of community health services, self-confidence as a health care professional, and an appreciation of the diverse cultures of the patients served.
Disclaimer: All applications will be reviewed and considered for placement. We will honor as many student placements as our resources will allow; not all student applicants will be accepted for placement.
