InterCare is searching for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team! The Dental Assistant position is responsible for assisting the dental providers with the provision of high quality, preventive and restorative patient centered primary oral health care to InterCare's target populations.

This is an on-call float position for our Bangor, Benton Harbor, Eau Claire, Holland, and Pullman locations.  Hours typically 8 AM to 5 PM but may vary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides efficient and effective patient preventive care according to the adopted clinical standards.

  • Participates constructively as a clinical team member.

  • Meets all dental safety and regulatory requirements.

Experience and Skills:


  • Graduate of an accredited dental assistant program required.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.

  • Possesses a thorough understanding of theory and practices of dentistry, typically acquired through completion of a dental assisting curriculum.

  • Displays compassionate, ethical and professional demeanor.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and family members involved in their care.
