InterCare is searching for a Quality Improvement Manager to join our team!   1. Responsible for the oversight of InterCare’s clinical data collection and analysis, and Quality Improvement activities.

  2. Functions as InterCare’s consultant to the site PI teams.

  3. Experience in Clinical Informatics in order to provide clinical input to MIS and EHR clinical in regards to templates, flow, CQM selection, UDS, and PCMH.

  4. Assumes primary responsibility for InterCare’s Event Reporting system.

  5. Functions as InterCare’s risk reduction coordinator.

Experience and Skills:

Professional and Technical Knowledge

  1. Possesses a thorough understanding of theory and practices of quality improvement and clinical health care risk, typically acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree program in nursing preferred, but not required and extensive practical experience in a professional environment.

  2. Maintains a working knowledge of clinical outcomes, evidenced based best practice and regulatory requirements.

  3. Strives to develop the leadership attributes identified by InterCare’s Management Success Profile.

  4. Maintains a working knowledge of EHR templates and workflow.

Technical Skills

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  2. Ability to use clerical and numerical skills in preparing final drafts and documents from raw data

  3. Ability to create letters, forms, documents, presentations

  4. Ability to run reports, analyze and interpret data, assist in implementation and maintenance of DRVS database and event reporting systems.

Communication Skills

  1. Possesses a professional level of written and verbal communication skills

  2. Ability to communicate complex concept in a clear effective manner

  3. Possesses excellent cross cultural communication skills and the ability to communicate to staff members at all levels
